| Private lessons are a great idea for players who already understand the mechanics of a good golf swing. However, for new players I recommend that they learn in a group. At Rocgolf we don't pretend to be counselors or psychologists, we are teachers so what we say to one person we can say to one hundred people. 'Knowledge makes the player' is our motto and golfers learn faster in groups because they can see the concepts being taught to the other players in the group. The penny must drop for each person, plus the group lessons are a lot of fun. See the pictures in the clinic section of this site. Golf is a social sport and therefore you get the opportunity to meet new friends who, like you, are probably experiencing golf for the first time too.
Once the technique is understood then the teacher will become your coach and they will confirm your progress which will be demonstrated on the golf course and can be measured by your performance. For an outline of the Rocsolid Golf Technique, click the link Technique |
